    My Essexs

Just a few of the Essex dresses I made and loved last year!

Dresser scarf + super soft crib sheet = my island white dress 🤍 I used my Essex dress pattern and I love how this one turned out and how comfortable it is!

This one is made from @minervadotcom exclusive viscose challis in “Enchanted Vision” which transports you to a lush tropical island 🏝☀️🌱I love it paired with my denim upcycle earrings and birkenstocks.

Wrangled a massive super soft duvet cover into one last (or maybe not quite the last…. 😉) late summer dress! I had a lot of fun playing with the stripes, a few things I’d change next time but that’s sometimes how it goes!! This is my Essex dress pattern with 2 edits:

    1. lengthened by about 2 inches (I originally cut it to be mid-calf but then didn’t like it and shortened it lol)
    2. omitted the flutter and/or puffed sleeve! Instead, finish the armholes with a narrow bias tape. I thought it might be too “circus chic” with any sleeve, especially one with volume. And I love the simplicity it has without!

I’ve styled it with a straw bag and necklace but I plan to layer this up and pair it with stronger accessories as we get into early Fall.

🍋Dolce & Gabbana inspired lemon tablecloth upcycle 🍋

I bought this tablecloth for a few euros on a Saturday morning, took it home and washed it, and by Sunday I was wearing it …and have been wearing it lots since!

🖤You can take the girl outta NY but you can’t take the black out of her closet…isn’t that what they say? I love love love my Essex dress in black cotton poplin and it’s going to be a workhorse into fall.

My duvet cover Essex dress! This may be my favorite Essex dress to date! The fabric is SO soft and everytime I put it on, I feel happy.
