    Shirred Bodice Dress

I tried shirring for the first time!! I know I’m a little late to the party but it was totally worth the wait! The pattern I used is my Bond Dress pattern and instead of using a stretch knit, I added the stretch with the shirring. I decided to space my elastic lines apart by about an inch to give some texture and I used the “wrong” side of the shirring as the right side because I love the chunky look the elastic thread gives to the bodice. The original pattern is a fitted dress, ¡but this variation is also spectacular!
