The Holiday Gift Guide
The Holidays are around the corner, yay!! And if you’re anything like me, you probably are already starting to plan a few me-made projects to give as gifts. If not, there’s still plenty of time and I’ve put together a gift guide featuring our patterns and projects to help with your plans.
So, let’s get started!
CLASSIC PAJAMAS
Perfect for: Close family members in matchy-matchy sets
I don’t know about you but I love the tradition of matching holiday pajamas in a luxe printed flannel. It gives me all the Hallmark movie channel feels!

The Lexington pajamas have a timeless sporty 90’s inspired silhouette, yet with a feminine vibe. The trousers and shorts have a relaxed fit with elastic waist and the trousers have optional elastic at the lower leg openings. Side pockets are a must-have! The top and nightshirt have a relaxed fit with a notched collar, button front and short and long sleeve options. The shirt hems to the hip and the nightdress to the knee. Psst. it also looks amazing in plaid! Find out more here.
CHIC LOUNGE SET
Perfect for: your too-cool sister, fun sister in law, or bestie
The Lenox is a versatile and luxurious loungewear collection that you can mix and match to make your own customized set. Wouldn’t these be fun for a special friend or sisters? The chemise and cami feature a classic v neck and are a perfect base for lace trims! The tap pants have an elastic waist and side seam pockets. The playsuit offers the best of both in a pullover style, with an elasticized high waist. Find out more here.
SNUGGLY ROBE
Perfect for: Dad, Mom, Grandparents, Brother, Sister, Aunt, Uncle
If you haven’t heard… Last week I released extended sizing on the Carnegie Robe! If you’re dreaming of that family Christmas, all gathered around the tree wearing matching pjs you’re in for a treat as Dad get’s a matching robe too! Feeling like a very Oprah moment right now.. “and you get a robe, and you get a robe”!
The Carnegie is my go-to for gifting. It’s a quick and easy sew and now with extended unisex sizing, fit isn’t an issue. Plus, it’s so versatile! I have different Carnegie robe’s for different times of the year. My fluffy white terry cloth for those cooler nights. My white printed cotton poplin for the everyday. And a luxe silky for weekends away and the nights I want to treat myself. Plus, now my husband has one too! Find out more here.
Slippers
Perfect for: Mom, aunt, sisters, bestie, or neighbor with style
Super cozy, and super cute… as long as you know (or can sleuth) the wearer’s size, these make fun gifts! Add pom poms or fun trims to add personality! And did I mention that the pattern is free? Yep, that’s right. This pattern is one of my free patterns, and they’re scrap friendly, too. Yippee to matching pjs and slippers. Get yours here!
Lavender Eye Pillow
Perfect for: mom, aunt, coworker, neighbors, community friends
Fast to make, incredibly relaxing to use for a 10 minute lie down, and they smell soo dreamy these lavender eye pillows are great gifts to give. Plus, I also have a free pattern and tutorial on how to make them! Woop! Read more here.
The Madison Hair Turban
Perfect for: Sisters, stylish friends
The Madison is a chic and timeless turban for wearing indoors – or out. You can make it in a stylish fabric to take your outfit to the next level or make it in soft Mulberry silk and wear as you sleep to protect your hair from breakage and wake up bed-head free! Pleats create the shape and the opening is finished with elastic and a small knot trim. Get the pattern here.
The Sleep Mask
Perfect for: an addition to a Lenox pajama set or with matching slippers
Sleep masks are not only chic in look and in thought. I’ve found them really practical for afternoon cat naps…or siestas like we call them here in Spain. They give a reprieve from the light and allow a few minutes of escape. Perfect for the Christmas rush! Get my free pattern here!
The Bleeker Sweatshirt
Perfect for: The too-cool older teen that you don’t know what to get, your sister, or bestie!
I love the Bleeker sweatshirt and so do many of you, too! It’s oversized and it’s comfy. Fabric choice can take the Bleeker from one style to another. It can be super edgy, or super chic. For me, the Bleeker is the perfect gift for my nieces and my friends. I say my nieces, as they’re probably too cool to be wearing anything handmade, but I know the Bleeker is an exception. More details here.

Added bonus, it only takes about 3 hours or so to make!
The Essex Dress
Perfect for: your best friend who admired yours
The Essex is the type of dress I would make for my best friend. I say that because it takes a little while longer to put together, but each second making it is a moment of thought and care. You can really put love and personality into the Essex dress. The true essence of who a person really is. Plus, it has pockets too! If that doesn’t scream ‘thanks so much, this is my favorite dress ever’, then honestly.. What will?
You can find inspiration in our Essex Spotlight here.

Bow Tote
Perfect for: community friends, a stylish coworker, yoga or gym friends, fellow moms
The bow tote is the perfect gift for basically anyone. It’s stylish, it’s practical, and it’s adorable! Added bonus, it’s super quick to sew and takes just a 1.25 of fabric. And guess what.. it’s a free pattern! Get yours here.
The Gift of Sewing
Perfect for: aspiring sewists or creatives of any age with the itch to sew!
Stitch Playbook is my beginner sewing course, which teaches the basic skills of sewing and even includes a free pattern (the Bowery sweatshirt!)! I’m often asked if this course is appropriate for children, to which I believe it absolutely is! Free of inappropriate language, and easily to follow along to, Stitch Playbook can be the perfect gift for creative children and teenagers who can apply themselves to learn a new skill!
